Hello hello! It’s Ai again and I’m talking about something
we all dread but we enjoy for the first few days, school time!
This will be a lengthy text blog!
I’m not attending public school this year because of a lot
of reasons… but I remember the terror I felt this time last year.
I was a freshman in highschool with soaring anxiety levels! And it doesn’t help
to be the fat girl who likes weird things and dresses weird… I didn’t have a
good time settling in, and my frequent absences made it a lot harder. It was stinky! I remember I missed my freshmen orientation,
with no glasses to see with, no idea where friends were, and looking ugly and low. My
homeroom was gym and I had bad bad classes all in the morning! I ended up
getting bad bad grades on a lot of my classes, but honestly… I always said, if
I had more confidence I could’ve been fine!
Being different in a world where people are against it is
hard, even more so in high school or middle school where everyone seems to hate
you.
Trust me! They are all just as
confused and feeling terrible as you are! And if you’re not feeling terrible…
there are still some things you are scared about. No one is 100% comfortable
with going to school and being yourself. A lot of people get lost in school and
they only re-find themselves in the adult world where their youth benefits are
all out and an entire new stress is in.
So, I say, if you found who you want to be while you’re
young – live it! Don’t stop for anything! Use these tips to help you surpass
greatness!
If anything makes people like you more, it’s compliments.
Telling people compliments, fake or not, will improve their confidence AND make
you know that they’ll judge you less (they probably weren’t in the first
place). Having a cheery big smile will
make you seem funnier too! People will laugh at more of your jokes. If you hold
your smile and say nice things, nothing can go wrong!
P.S. If someone gives you one back, just take it! Take that
sucker and wear it proudly, like a flag! Lady thinks you got nice curls? Become
a curl monster!
I always had a hard time dressing like myself, believe it or
not… I’ve loved clothing and fashion for as long as I can remember. But I know
that even if you love your outfit, it’s sometimes hard to wear it because of
what others will think.
But you know, one thing I tell myself is that it’s not their
clothing it’s mine! If they don’t like it, they aren’t wearing it! Screw them!
That’s hard to do, but if you write it down somewhere…
Tell yourself it every day! Keep saying it until you can
blow off other’s thoughts. Listen to music and surround yourself with positive
things. Don’t check those fashion blogs that tell you whats in and whats out,
and don’t think you need to dress to fit in with friends. Wear what is you, and
people who like you for you will attach!
Like I said, surround yourself with positive things. Find good role models,
wear clothing that’s comfortable, listen to music with good vibes, and hang
with friends who don’t judge you… build a cushion while you build your wall of
confidence. School isn’t everything in life and relations, stress from anywhere
can destroy confidence easily. Find a great role model, like a youtuber or
blogger and stick to them. Experiment with clothing and foods and makeup… just
build happy distractions!
This is a really simple tip, but surround yourself in colors this year for
school. Buy bright note books and cool pencils, make your bag you and don’t
stop with that locker.
It’s a scientific fact that colors brighten moods
immediately and are more cheerful than dull school supplies. It’s easier to
wake up to and it can be fun to show off!
I think a great place to buy kawaii school supplies is
modes4u! I buy a lot of my stuff from there, and I’m going to be doing a binder
decoration haul from them soon. Other than that, DIY and DIY and DIY. School
supplies is hard to find in styles you like when you’re looking, kind of like
watching a pot of water until it boils… Tons of cool tutorials are all over the
internet!
Trust me! Just keep your head up. My tips aren't the world, and I know they aren't the best... but confidence needs to be gained, not given.
You don't have to do what I instructed but if you're looking for a positive step in the right direction this is for you.
P.S. Bullies are fricking dumb. If that stuff is happening, tell your mommy, tell your tearcher, tell the police ... just don't let that stuff happen anymore. Kids will be assholes, but if it's really getting too bad to stand don't let it happen.
