Simple Sugars review+over view!

I love buying new products with cute packaging and supporting awesome effort put into things. When I see cute new things in the store I have to try them!

Look how cute these boxes are! 

Simple Sugars is a very pleasant all natural handmade line that claims it's wonderful for sensitive skin! I've never had sensitive skin per say so I can't chime in on that but after this review I see no reason why it wouldn't be perfect.

The product line was founded by Lani Lazzari and has a very adorable story behind it! I suggest going to their website and reading it, it makes the products so much sweeter!

For this review I purchased the Cucumber facial scrub and the Happy Feet peppermint scrub. I love and use products with both of these scents so I'm excited to get started!

They seem identical everywhere but the face! Thank god for this adorable packaging, I can't get enough of it!

I'm going to start off with opening the cucumber facial first. 

OH my god is that a tiny spoon with a bow oh my gosh it's so cute ooh my heart is melting 

For a handmade product this is so neatly packaged! It's really impressive. 

A very cute little spoon, the jar, and a small booklet all come inside the small box. 

Everything about these products is so well packaged and cute! I'm loving it even before I use it!

As soon as I opened it I felt a blast of cucumber scent hit my nose. It's not a bad thing, I'm surprised it's this powerful scent wise. The packaging said oil would settle at the top so you have to stir before use - that's really well thought out and I'm happy they wrote that because it might not be obvious. 

When using this product the day after opening it was still very very oily. I followed the instruction exactly and even though it smoothed my skin there was a coating of oil left that wouldn't come off until I washed my face. The scrub part works fine but there was a lot of oil! 

Now onto opening the peppermint foot scrub.

It came with all the same pieces as the first one! Still so amazingly cute.

Like the cucumber the peppermint scent was amazingly strong. I love minty smells on my feet so I'm happy! The product was a lot less oily than the cucumber facial scrub and I do indeed have very happy feet after using it! Even though it didn't do an awful lot like high end products it was so much fun to use and my feet smelt great after!

All together I say the facial was about a 7/10 while the happy feets was about an 8/10! I really want to purchase the strawberry and green tea facials from this line so look forward to those reviews.
