So who wants to just waste that money you used to get those seasonal decorations and supplies? I hate wasting money, so not me.
Lets start off with the basics, we're going to be making a simple placard with a suitable statement for this season.

Since this really is a "use anything you have left" kind of project, you really can just use anything you have left.
- False leaves purchased at the dollar store.
- Plain craft brushes covered in duct tape to avoid splintering.
- Golden Fluid Acrylics in Vat Orange and Pyrrola Red. (I used a yellow paint later but it was from a bottle someone lent me, so I don't know the brand or name.)
- Wooden letters or paint-able letters, such as foam or ... paper, I guess? You could always just use fabric letters or stencils. Really this is such a "do what you want" project.
- A hot glue gun, preferably in tacky print.
- And a board to put shit on of course.
Now that you dug through your craft space to find things you no longer need now that it is December, simply do the following along with me!

Put your fall scraps where you think they might look appealing. I suggest, besides Leaf me Alone, phrases like "Pumpkin spice this ass" or "Leaves are falling like the economy."

Then, start painting your letters. You see here I added a yellow sneak attack.
There are a lot of things you could spell out with N, E, L. Nel, Enl, Lne, Eln, Nle, Len... damn you len.

Once your letters are dry enough you don't mind rubbing them all over your clean hands, hot glue them to the board kind of around where you wanted them to be.

Look at that, gluing fucking leaves. Not that hard, you're following along.
Aaaand...

We're done!
There we have it, all of the fall shit we no longer need thrown on a board we got for cheap at the craft store! Such a nice thing to put up next year, or just be content you didn't waste too much shit and throw it out.
