Summer is literally the absolute fucking worst for fat people. Society as a whole tells us we can't wear certain things but also mocks up for being sweaty. Everyone knows that fat people not being able to expose themselves is complete bullshit, but the fear of being mocked sometimes gets too far under your skin and even though you know it's okay it can sometimes still be a bit too scary to show your skin!

I'm gonna share a few tips of my own for you struggling cuties out there!
Dress in Light sheers! ☀
Sheer clothing and fabric is absolutely wonderful. Not only does it look light and pretty, it can add coverage to the spots of your body that you still can't feel the vibes on.
Sheer cardigans, sheer skirts, etc! Sheer it up man. Chiffon is my go-to light fabric, but some of my friends prefer more elegant things like loosened silk.

| Simple "Neon" Embroidered "Kimono" top from Charlotte Russe's Plus section |
This super cute and simple "Kimono" (I hate that term) top from Charlotte Russe seems to be a good fit for what I'd wear! To be honest CR has a lot of these kinds of shirts in their Plus section, so there's a bigger selection than just this. I picked something kind of pinkish, but I had several other options I could totally fit in here and it'd be fine.

| Tunnel Vision's model Ty wearing the 1990s Right Kind of Sinner Sheet jacket |
One of my absolute favorite shops, Tunnel Vision, is so awesome for sheer, light, flowing cardigans\jackets\what have you!
I honestly want everything in their store all year round but my closet could totally use more of their "Hottie with a Body" summer selections.
I picked the piece to the right because of it's pure wonderfulness. Ty (the model) is wearing exactly what I'd wear in this kind of summer heat.
Stay super Hydrated! ☀
Let's be real, the sun will murder you. It's hot and takes no prisoners, it kills on sight. You're going to sweat so much if you stay outside long enough, no matter how still you stand or how little you do. The best tip to staying okay in the heat is to always, always carry a water bottle!
Or any bottles, honestly. Water is nature's "I'm sorry" for all the problems you can think of. I personally love to carry my water bottles in my backpack, but most people keep them in their purses.
The environment will thank you for using a reusable water bottle. There's tons of cheap options out there at every grocery store I can think of, but if you wanna get extra cute about it here are two I'd buy for myself.

I'd get both of these for myself!
Sunscreen it up! ☀
This may or may not help you with your quest to stay cool, but it will help you in the long run! Any blogger in the world will tell you the benefit of excess sun screening. UV rays cause cancer, skin problems, and age you so much faster. Remember, sunscreen is not just for white people! It's usually just marketed at white people.
The higher SPF your lotion has the longer you can wear it, 10SPF is about an hour of protection while 50SPF is about 5 hours! I usually wear 30SPF sunscreen and reapply it every 3-4 hours while I'm out. Everyone, EVERYONE needs sunscreen - regardless of race or activity level. Any exposure to the sun, even though windows, can be harmful.
I say finding a brand that works for you is the absolute best idea, but my favorite sunscreen is Alba Botanica's "Very Emollient" sunscreen. I couldn't find a great image for this one, so here's some pictures of me instead!

Thank you so much for reading, as usual! I hope my lackluster tips helped you a bit this summer!
