Ask my girlfriend for verification of the fact calming me down from my emotions and panic attacks is not easy. I have really severe anxiety and a bunch of other junk I don't really want to talk about.
The best thing that helps is a distraction so I can think about my emotions while enjoying myself! I've noticed in our relationship, it really does help to just sit down an enjoy a show or a movie. I have a select few movies I really enjoy - either because of nostalgia, goodness, or aesthetic! I'm gonna talk about my absolute top favorite two here. Now that school's starting up, you could find this useful!

The Brave Little Toaster
The Brave Little Toaster is a movie I use to binge watch when I was little! I have no idea why I liked it. Ever since I was young I always personified items and used them as if they were real things. I still do, to this day! It's why my room looks the way it does... hah.
The movie is about a small little toaster and his other appliance friends finding their owner who has since grown up and left them there! The music is pretty bland and the animation still holds up in my very low standard opinion. I rewatch it alone while I'm working and upset.
One of the most rememebered songs from the movie is "Worthless". It really makes you pick up hoarder tendencies!

| So cute!! |
My favorite clothing printer, Beloved, has a Blankie blanket! It's totally on my Christmas list. To be honest I don't even have a favorite character or a favorite anything, I just really love this movie and always have!

Any Strawberry Shorcake VHS (Mainly Spring for Strawberry Shortcake)
I still have a few items here and there, but not like I use to. I'm honestly still getting over loosing my massive toy collection through the move since I took such good care of it and rewatching VHSs I have really cheers me up! I don't watch it digitally like BLT or Studio Ghibli movies, I watch it on a tiny shitty TV with an old Lisa Frank covered VHS player to add to the aesthetic.
The movie, Spring for Strawberry Shortcake, is a pretty solid aesthetically kids movie. It's very Strawberry Shortcake and the song "Springtime" will literally infest you with ear worms.
Maybe one day I'll be able to get my collection back! I really hope so. Strawberry Shortcake has always made me feel very berry cute and I miss the feeling I use to have back then, a lot. She's still as cute as I remember, too, it's kind of embarrassing how much I enjoy these movies but... aesthetic! Aesthetic!

I know it's only two this time, but I'm doing an entire Patheticism series! Now that I'm trying to post two things a week, I'm gonna try for one fashion and one personal (or work). I really hope it goes my way and I can keep up the stamina of doing this. I love blogging so much but I feel like what I have to say is so boring and bland. Buuuu
Tell me about your comfort movies! I might do a comfort shows, later, too.
